An enormous hand-painted interior mural for the opening of the Jordan flagship store, Beijing, China. Spanning two stories above the retail space, this mural depicts Michael Jordan’s fingerprint, symbolizing the immense impact this basketball legend has had on Beijing and its basketball and sneaker fans. This thumbprint design was also used to create commemorative “ribbon cutting” plaques for the Jordan global leadership team. A complementary Jumpman mural piece hangs above the register space.
